Biography

K’Welhi Tia was born to K’Vhuh Nunh and K’Ralka Vhuh in La Noscea. When K’Welhi was fairly young he was separated from his parents. The tribe settlement had been invaded by Garleans during an attempted takeover of Limsa Lominsa, the small K’Welhi getting caught up in the chaos and unknowingly kidnapped before his parents could realize. In this fight to ward of the Garleans, K’Vhuh was one of the many casualties while K’Ralka escaped with serious, but treatable, injuries. Losing both her husband and child was devastating, yet she never lost hope that her son was still out there, and above all else would survive.K’Welhi was taken back to Garlemald where he had been the subject of heinous and traumatizing experiments. This baby Seeker wasn’t kidnapped out of pure chance, this child had an abundance of aether and the Garleans were looking to use it to their advantage. He had been branded with the Garlean emblem on his rib cage, to signify that he was property of the Garlean Empire. K’Welhi had become rather acquainted with a young Zenos yae Galvus. Their interactions bordered somewhere between friends and enemies, with the two being of similar age. Zenos had grown a fondness for the Miqo’te, but had no qualms with experimenting on him. As much as he liked K’Welhi, Zenos was also aware of the benefits he could have for their empire. To advance their Magitek. As time went on, K’Welhi had enough. In all the years of being kept as a lab rat, he kept a watchful eye and had learned how Garlean tech worked. At about the age of 16, he was able to break out and steal a Magitek armour, and he went as far as the Magitek could take him, and then later as far as his own legs could. Two Elezen adventurers from Coerthas, Octavel and Aurelle Millenis would find the Miqo’te teen in their travels, where they were able to take him in as their own. They took him back home to Coerthas, and since K’Welhi never truly knew his name, Octavel and Aurelle named the Miqo’te Crimson after his red hair.Crimson continued his childhood in Coerthas and going on adventures with his new parents. Now that he was liberated from Garlemald, his mind had time to relax. This lead to nightmares and flashbacks, but something new happened...it seemed someone would call out to Crimson, an almost godly being. “Hear. Feel. Think.” Those words would echo in his mind constantly, sometimes making it difficult to focus on his tasks at hand. This voice eventually was followed by visions, some seemingly of the past and others of seemingly current events. It’d only been a few years, but Crimson had felt the inspiration to head for La Noscea and study in Limsa to become a summoner. He became rather fond of Limsa for it’s beautiful weather, the smell of salt in the air, and the abundance of fresh fish that were available daily-actually, it was almost nostalgic for him. During a trip outside of the city, Crimson had encountered a few familiar Miqo’te. His memory didn’t serve him well, but he knew them. An older female looked at him, and a connection was immediately made. Even though it had been nearly nineteen years a mother will always recognize her children, especially with the red hair and those striking green eyes. K’Ralka explained everything to Crimson, even his birth name. While he was at ease knowing his birth mother was still around and that she was welcoming to him, Crimson continued to go his own way drifting around Eorzea and meeting new people.
In his travels, Crimson had been sought out by the Scions of the Seventh Dawn when he was 24. He’d been informed that he had been blessed with the Echo by Hydaelyn, making him one of her chosen Warriors of Light and to be part of a mission to save the world from injustice and destruction. In his travels, Crimson had met a skilled Seeker of the Sun known as Jax Fray Reyes. The two of them seemed to instantly bond and become friends. They both had made quite the pair of Warriors of Light, gaining trust and bonding quickly. Within the year, their friendship had blossomed into romance, and the two would marry in that same year.Crimson had become a skilled summoner, even becoming part of the Immortal Flames’ Summoner Corps. While Jax stayed in Eorzea, Crimson was tasked with helping liberate the people of Doma, in which he was captured again by Zenos, this time being tortured not for experimentation but for escaping Garlemald. Once he had been liberated, the world had been saved once more.
